Last year, we published this Asian American Pacific Islanders ‘Audiences Uncovered’ to spotlight a group of Americans who are too often overlooked. While many of the insights and implications still hold true in 2021, we have refreshed the newsletter with updated data and statistics in acknowledgement of the power and influence of this audience and to keep pace with the rapidly changing cultural landscape. If 2020 was considered the year when many outside of the African American community were forced to confront the systemic injustice and racial prejudices faced by those within the community, the same could be said for 2021 and Asian Americans.
